White Cane Day
The Peoria Sunset Lions will be participating in White Cane Day on Saturday, April 25, 2015. Lions will be at the Fry's Food Store located on 91st Avenue and Union Hills Drive from 9am through 4pm. All funds collected go to providing eye exams and glasses for Peoria students and other vision services needed by the community.
3rd Annual Tee Off for Sight
Another successful golf outing is complete. Thank you to all the golfers and Lions who participated in this event. It was a beautiful spring morning and check in went smoothly. Lots ways to support the effort, raffle prizes, mulligans, paint sticks and a 50/50 raffle at lunch.
The Marshmallow Mash benefitting Leader Dogs for the Blind was a big hit and raised a good amount for the organization.
A raffle prize bonanza for this lucky golfer. Everyone enjoyed a tasty lunch after golfing! Thanks to all who participated the Arizona Lions Sight & Hearing foundation will be able to continue their good work.
