Peoria Sunset Lions Present Golf Tournament Proceeds

On Sunday, April 14, several club members gathered at the Arizona Lions Sight and Hearing offices to present a check to President PDG Tom Simmons and the Board of Directors. We are proud to announce that our $14,000.00 donation will provide five cataract surgeries and two detached retina surgeries. This will restore sight to seven poverty level persons who would not be able to afford the surgeries otherwise.

We are proud that our first annual Tee Off For Sight was such a success not only in the amount of money we raised but also raising the awareness of so many in our community to the plight of the visually and hearing impaired. Job well done Peoria Sunset Lions!
