Thank you from the Troops
We were honored to have Major Luis Aguirre and his family wife Beverly and daughter Allison visit us at Brother's Restaurant on Friday February 14, 2014 at noon. Major Aguirre is from one of the AZ service people that we supported with our Christmas for the Troops project. Major Aguirre presented the club with an American Flag that was flown on an Alpha Company, 1-285th ARB AH64D Apache Longbow Helicopter Combat Mission over Afghanistan in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM on January 1st, 2013. It was an honor to send the packages and it was an honor for the club to meet him. Major Aguirre told us that they received so many packages that they were able to helicopter many to the service members in many remote locations. Thanks to the club members that were able to join us on short notice.
