Northeast Philadelphia Lions at the recent National Night Out in Fox Chase
Who we are:
40 + Civic-minded men and women of the communities of Northeast Philadelphia, Rockledge, Fox Chase, Abington and Huntingdon Valley bound together under Lions Club International "To Serve" and meet community needs.
Nurses, Contractors, Landscapers, Funeral Directors, Attorneys, Accountants, Dry Cleaners, Students, Government Employees, Business People and Retirees. Young and old, we are individuals who reflect our community.
What we do:
* Conduct Fundraisers for the Blind and Needy; examples:
* Delaware Valley Eye Bank
* Associate Services For The Blind
* Leader Dog
* VOSH -Eyeglass Recycling
* LCIF- Melvin Jones
* Diabetes Awareness
* Lions District A Foundation
* Breathing Room Foundation
* Emmaus Homes
* Hosts For Hospitals
Provide Volunteers for Community Service Events; such as:
* Hope Lodge Dinners For Cancer Patients and Their Families
* National Night Out in Fox Chase
* St Cecelias Trunk or Treat Night
* Rockledge Car Show
* Thanksgiving and Christmas Deliveries Of Meals and Toys to the Needy
* ANYTHING FOR THE GOOD OF LIONISM!!
Our fundraiser activities include raffles, White Cane Day Collections, Flower and Christmas Tree Sales, Dinner Events and much more and we have a lot of fun.
Our friendships last a lifetime and the business value of our network is tremendous.
