2011 STURGEON HUNT      October 2nd, 2011

MEENAN'S COVE, QUISPAMSIS

The Pickwauket Lions Club had another successful turn out, on Sunday October 2, for the 24^th annual Great Quispamsis Sturgeon Hunt. Despite the wet weather, almost 150 anglers arrived at Meenans Cove to chase down the elusive sturgeon.

The big winner this year for the biggest fish caught was Stephen Aiton from Searsville. He walked away with the trophy and cheque for $1,000.00.
