Piedmont Lions Club:  We Serve!

       The Piedmont Lions Club boasts 40 members, all dedicated to our motto, "We Serve".  As "Knights of the Blind" we have  collected discarded eye glasses, and paid for glasses and examinations to those in need.  We support the Blind Fishing Tournament and Leader Dogs for the Blind, and we give money to support eye research.  That is in addition to our contributions to Meals on Wheels and community projects.

We support PERC, the Piedmont food pantry, with a yearly collection of food.

Our last Spaghetti Dinner netted over $1500 for Leader Dogs for the Blind.  We served almost 200 dinners and brought in many community members to meet the Lions.  

     We meet the first Tuesday of every month at the local Buffalo Cornbread restaurant on state route 86.  Join us!
