Lions club members dedicate splash pad.

The Plainfield Lions Club enhances the Plainfield, Wis. community through community projects, service and support.

The club's current projects include:

  • Splash Pad in the Plainfield Veteran's Park completed July, 2014
  • New playground equipment in the Plainfield Veteran's Park
  • Memorial benches at the Splash Pad site
  • Picnic tables at the Splash Pad site
  • New grills were installed at the Splash Pad site in the spring of 2015
  • Electronic message boards on Highway 73 advertising local businesses, community events and personal announcements
  • Concession stand for community fundraisers at Royal Supermarket
  • Updates and additions to Tri-County Area Schools
    • Addition of a quarter of the football field lights
    • Concession stand update and concession stand at soccer field
  • Updates and additions to Veteran's Park including:
    • Soccer field
    • Baseball diamond and fencing
    • Updating the pavilion
    • Addition of restroom and shower facilities
    • Updating charcoal pit
  • Updates and additions to Waterman's Park including:
    • Updating the pavilion
    • Updating the basketball court
    • Adding a historical marker at the park entrance
  • Purchased charcoal grills for Rosholt Lions Camp

The club's annual events include:

  • Pancake breakfast fundraiser
  • Plainfield Spree food stand fundraiser
  • Contributions to the local Christmas SOS event
  • Easter egg hunt for community children
  • Tri-County High School Honors Banquet
  • Plainfield Lions Sportsmen's Night

The Plainfield Lions Club provides support to the following community activities and organizations:

  • Badger State Boys and Girls
  • College scholarships for local students
  • Boy Scouts
  • Rural Youth Safety Day
  • Waushara County Ski Day
  • Blue Ribbon Kids Day
  • Tri-County High School Post Prom
  • Tri-County Athletic Department Golf Outing
  • Free messages to local organizations and school on the electronic signs

  • Wisconsin Lions Foundation Camp in Rosholt
  • Leader Dog for the Blind
