Welcome to the Pleasant Hill Lions Website

The Pleasant Hill Lions Club was chartered in October of 1952. We have been serving our community ever since.

Our main focus is locally where we support our youth, schools, recreation & park district and other non-profits and community groups. The Pleasant Hill Lions Club is well known in the community and continues to live the Lions Motto of "WE SERVE."

Pleasant Hill is located about 30 miles east of San Francisco. It is surrounded by the cities of Concord, Walnut Creek and Martinez. The city's population is approximately 32,000.

Pleasant Hill Lions Club has grown and supported three District Governors: Reuben Friedrich 1961-62, Dr. Bill Lannaccone 1985-86, and Dave Peters 2010-2011.

The Pleasant Hill Lions Club has members ranging in age from 21 to the mid 80's. Charter Member Ted Winslow is active within the club and was our Treasurer for over 29 years. Other long time members include Phil Madruga and Don Flaskerud. All three give guidance and wisdom that has served us well. We welcome our newest member of 2011-2012: Patricia Frame.
