The second Friday in June is reserved for the famous annual Fish Fry and Stag, held at the Port Dover Arena on St George St. Catered by Knechtel’s, the all-you-can-eat delicious perch brings huge crowds annually.

Start the day cheering for your favorite entry in the Soap Box Derby at Main and Chapman Streets which kicks off at 9:00am sharp. Take in the Dog Show – thirteen categories – a children’s favourite. Then arrive early for a good spot at the pier for the boat parade at 11:00 am and then on to Main Street at 2:00 pm to see the hour long Calithumpian Parade at 2:00pm. It's Canada's biggest! Enjoy food, fun, friends and finally fireworks and bands in the evening at Silver Lake Park.
