History

   The Port Royal Lions Club was chartered on May 31st,1945 with 30 members. We currently have one surviving Charter Member, Lion William V. Godshall. The club bought the Port Royal Lions Club Park in 1967. The Club was meeting at various locations until the Clubhouse was built and ready for the club to begin meeting in 1977.

Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.
