Prescott Valley Mid-Day Lions Club

The Prescott Valley Mid-Day Lions Club is a group of community leaders, chartered in December, 2010, who are united in service to make Prescott Valley a better community. The club was sponsored by the Prescott Valley Early Bird Lions Club, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2010. We had our charter closing celebration as a district event on March 11, 2011 with 21 members.

Lions Clubs throughout the world are known for their sight and hearing projects, but all Lions Clubs are formed for one purpose: to find needs in their communities to fill. We have been focused on service since the day we began meeting, and have helped with the Quad Cities Relay for Life 2010, the 2nd Street Merchants' Harvest Festival, the Burning Desire to Feed the Hungry food drive, the Last Minute Non-Profit Stocking Stuffer Bazaar with Parkview Middle School, Arbor Day Tree Planting and Safe Trick or Treat.

Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.
