The Punta Gorda Lions Club and the Punta Gorda Lions Foundation, Inc. are major providers of sight and hearing care in the Punta Gorda area.  In keeping with the motto "We Serve", we have established our Club level Foundation to provide humanitarian outreach and services through professional and volunteer sources.

• Direct contact with Dr. Michael Wesson, Wal-Mart Vision Center who provides eye exams and eye glasses.
• All Punta Gorda schools are covered by the Lions vision care program through the Association of School Nurses and the VSP program through Dr. Todd Lang.
• Close association with the Glaucoma Clinic and specialists who provide a wide range of vision services.
• Hearing services are provided by Hearing Centers of Charlotte County, the Hear-Now program and our District Hearing Bank.
