LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION
Each year the Punta Gorda Lions Club donates to the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF). This foundation provides grants and funding in the areas of Vision, Disaster Relief, Youth, Humanitarian, Diabetes, Childhood Cancer, Environment and Hunger. It has been rated 4-Stars by Charity Navigator.
FREE CHILD VISION TESTING
The Punta Gorda Lions Club does pre-school vision screenings to over 1,000 children in Charlotte County. We are partnering with the Early Learning Coalition in this project.
SCHOLARSHIPS
The Punta Gorda Lions Club provides scholarships to graduating Charlotte High School Seniors who anticipate going on to study in the medical field. Last year, the Club provided $7,000 in scholarships to graduating Seniors!
EYE GLASS AND HEARING AID RECYCLING
The Punta Gorda Lions Club has 12 collection points in the area for used Eyeglasses and Hearing Aids. These are collected and sent to the Florida Lions Recycling Center, where they are cleaned and reissued to those who could not otherwise afford them. We collect over 5,000 pairs of used glasses annually.

FREE TESTING SERVICES
The Punta Gorda Lions Club conducts FREE Adult Vision, Diabetes and Hearing Testing for our community throughout the year.
GUIDE DOGS
The Punta Gorda Lions Club makes annual donations to the Southeastern Guide Dogs, which provides service dogs to the visually impaired, Veterans and others, at no cost.
SCHOOL VISION SERVICES
In Partnership with both the National School Nurses Association and the local School Nurses of Charlotte County, the Punta Gorda Lions Club provide vision care to hundreds of low income children through the VSP Sight for Students Program.
CHRISTMAS FOOD BASKET PROGRAM
In partnership with the Punta Gorda Police Department and the local Aldi Grocery Store, we provided six holiday meal baskets to local needy families. These baskets were delivered by Police Officers from the PGPD.

JAMMERS BASKETBALL PROGRAM
We are proud sponsors of the Punta Gorda Police Deprtment's Jammers Basketball Program, which is a free basketball league for children from the ages of 10-13 years old.
HOLIDAY GIFT CARDS
Each year we provide $50 gift cards to needy families at the Baker Center Headstart Program. Last year, we were able to provide cards to twenty-five families.
