Lions community bookshop officially reopened

The bookshop was officially opened at its new home in Queanbeyan Park on November 2023, thanks to the help and support of the Queanbeyan community, with special thanks to QPRC, former local member Nichole Overall, Lions members and their families, community volunteers and our many sponsors.  A true community project.

Lions Community Bookshop, The Cottage, Queanbeyan Park, 1 Lowe Street, near The Brad Haddin Oval, and along from the AXIS Youth Centre.

Great books, DVDs and CDs at great prices - only $1 or $2!

Lions Club of Queanbeyan was chartered in 1957 and in 2022 we celebrated serving the community for 65 years. This will coincide with Lions Clubs International celebrating 75 years in Australia.

Our Bookshop is our main fundraiser and since opening in November 2018, has raised over $180,000 for our local and wider communities.

The bookshop has relocated to the Cottage in Queanbeyan Park (1 Lowe Street) and is open 10am to 4pm Tuesday to Saturday each week.  Books donations are very welcome.

We are involved in other fundraisers and projects and have a number of exciting projects under consideration or underway. Join us in our journey and make a difference in your community.
