Who Are The Ramsey Lions?

The Ramsey Lions Club was chartered in 1973, under the sponsorship of the Anoka Lions Club. We currently have 37 men and women who volunteer their time and talents to perform a variety of community service activities.

We are one of approximately 45,000 clubs that make up the Lions Clubs International organization. Our members come from various walks of life, some own their own business or work full time, while others may be retired. We learn, share our talents and work as a team on our many fund raising activities, food and beer sales at community events and our charitable gambling locations.

All of the funds raised are donated back, primarily within our own community; to help with family hardship situations, eye glasses and hearing devices for those in need, reading and wellness programs in our local schools, scouting programs, camps for children and adults with disabilities, veterans programs, service dogs, scholarships for our local high schools and colleges, support of our local food shelves, donation of Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets for needy families, support of sight, hearing and diabetes research programs and many more.

We would like to THANK the community for their support and patronage at our fundraisers and charitable gambling sites.

We always welcome anyone who has the time and desire to serve their community through our club activities. Please stop in at one of our meetings and check us out.
