Welcome to the Rehoboth Anawan Lions Website

The Rehoboth Anawan Lions Club was founded on December 11, 1991 and Chartered in 1992.  For over 24 years we have been tirelessly serving those in need in Rehoboth.  We donate to Massachusetts Lions Eye Research and many other district and local needs.

Our projects range from tree lighting, Ladies with Laughter Luncheon, bake sale at Easter time, collecting money at Dunkin Donuts for eye research, pennies for sight first, collecting eye glasses, playing bingo with the Seniors at Marion Manor, Calendar Dance, donating to the Rehoboth Food Bank, donating money for the Senior’s Fuel Assistance, Food Baskets during the holidays, Scholarship Foundation at Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School, Selling Yankee Candles and many more.

Since the club’s humble beginning, Lions Club members have volunteered their time and talents to meet the needs wherever they exist.  Lions are especially dedicated to serving the blind and visually impaired, a commitment made after Helen Keller challenged the Lion’s membership, at the 1925 Cedar Point, Ohio Convention, to become her “knights of the blind in a crusade against darkness”.

Our Motto, “We Serve” perfectly exemplifies the dedication to helping those in need felt by Lions worldwide.  Our members of the Rehoboth Anawan Lions Club help to carry on this tradition of service for many years to come.
