Meetings

FAQ

Rockford Lions frequently asked questions:

Join the Rockford Lions

  1. How do I become a member?
    1. Contact us and communicate your interest.
    2. Attend a meeting, ask questions and learn about Lionism.
    3. At the meeting, ask about becoming a member.

To become a Lion, you must be an adult, good moral character and good reputation in the community. Membership is by invitation.

  1.  Does membership require a lot of my time?
    1. We don't require any specific time commitment.
    2. The more you can give, the more you will receive.

We have a fun and engaging group. If you attend a meeting, you will see firsthand how being a member doesn't seem like a commitment at all.

Ask for Assistance

  1. How can I get assistance or donation from the Rockford Lions?
    1. Contact us and communicate your need.

Tell us what you need and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Unfortunately, we will not be able to fulfill all of them.

Note:  We may ask for more details or ask you to give a brief presentation at one of our meetings.

Make a Contribution

  1. How can I contribute to the Rockford Lions?
    1. Contact us and communicate what you would like to contribute.

There are many ways to contribute such as financial, donate items for the silent auction at our annual Greenback Dinner and Silent Auction, sponsor a hole at our annual golf tournament or simply participate in our events throughout the year.

We wouldn't be able to do what we do without your generous support.
