2012 is well underway!
During January members brought can goods and non-perishables that we donated to a local food bank as a way to help in the fight against hunger in our own community.
The Ball Field / Community Park is coming right along. Pretty soon it will be ready for it's first visitors.
February's Sweetheart Dinner was a lot of Fun (what a way to celebrate both the holiday and the Anniversary of our Club).
- The food was great
- The musical talent of our own Lion Erin McNair was truly enjoyed as she serenaded her Sweetheart singing "Still the One"
- Laughs were no way in short supply as members and guest unknowingly created their own Valentine Story MadLib style
- Prizes (perhaps a few last minute Valentine gifts) were collected by playing Cupid (a Valentine version of Bingo)
- And our Math skills were utilized while trying to win a jar full of M&Ms.
March was a real treasure as our club enjoyed a visit from PDG/ID Brad Logsden. It was such an honor and a real treat to have him come and share with our club. And adding to the evening was a wonderful Irish themed meal prepared by PDG Charles Alexander.
