One of the Roscommon Higgins Lake Lions most well known annual events is our Chicken BBQ held on the 4th of July each year right after the parade in downtown Roscommon. Watch the events calendar for the other current and upcoming activities.
In addition to supporting many local eye care patients, Art in the Park, Riverfest, Winterfest, Ski for Light and the Firemen’s Memorial Festival, we also help financially with the local school sports programs. Outside of our local community we have donated to the following projects: District 11E-2, Kidsight Camera, Leader Dogs, Lions All State Band, Bear Lake Camp, LCIF Campaign SightFirst II, Lions of Michigan Service Foundation, the Children's Bereavement Network, the Michigan Eye Bank and Welcome Homes.
