The Rotorua East Lions are a dynamic club that is at its most busiest time during the summer months with such activities as manning the main and pit gates of Stock Cars at Paradise Valley. The A and P Show at Ngongotaha with the BBQ trailer, and helping out at such events like The Rotorua Marathon and various Street appeals such as Guide Dogs and Pink Ribbon . We have also raised money for the Lions Cancer Lodge in Hamilton and were the lead club to help raise money for the Ronald McDonald Charities Retreat at Ngongotaha.

Our big project for the year is the International Trout Tournament. This Tournament is usually on the third weekend in November. This is a three day tournament where competitors fish the many lakes around Rotorua for both Rainbow and Brown Trout. This is a family event and very popular with weekend anglers from all around the country as well as local fishermen.

We meet 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month. the 1st Monday at the RSA is our business meeting and the 3rd Monday is at the CT club is our dinner and social meeting with various activities ranging from guest speakers to quiz nights.

If you or anyone you know would like to be a part of this fun energetic team of Lions contact our President, Secretary or Membership chairman details on our contact page,
