We are the Sandestin Lions Club based out of the Sandestin Resort in southern Walton County, Sandestin FL.  We were chartered since1978.  We raise funds through local fundraisers and other community projects to support the blind in our community and to support other organizations throughout the State of Florida that support the blind. Two of our most important local projects are to provide free eye exams and glasses to those who cannot afford them and to fund local scholarships at Northwest Florida College, South Walton High School and Freeport High School. We are members of both the Destin Area and Walton County Chamber of Commerce. Our club was chartered as a IRS Not for Profit Corp 501-C-3 in 2007 under the name of the Sandestin Lions Foundation Inc. Our motto is "We Serve"
