The San Diego Agape Lions Club Logo portrays a heart-in-hand image which depicts a heart in an open palm; it is symbolic of charity (love) given from the heart. The symbol is a pictorial reminder to promote a simple life of hard work and spirituality and also implies a loving welcome; “Put your hands to work (in love) and your heart (devotion) to GOD.”  The Lions Logo is in the center of the heart and like our heart, which is enclosed in our chest; it denotes that service is the center of our objectives. It has a glowing light to represents the members’ undying and unending commitment to be of service to God and the community thru Lionism.

Chartered on June 2010, “AGAPE” was chosen as the distinguishing club name in keeping with our commitment and devotion to God and others, that true religion is expressed in outward acts of service and it is pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father. To   help those in need.

AGAPE – meaning a Love that is wholly selfless and sacrificial, bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]. Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]

                                                                       (1 COR. 13: 7-8)

San Diego Agape Lions Club was officially recorded with 28 members; Lion Tess Advincula was eventually elected as the Charter President.

Our Motto! WE SERVE!

"Volunteers are not paid, not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless."
