Meetings

Welcome to the Seattle Ballard Lions Web Site

WE SERVE

Dedicated to service the Ballard community since 1925
Mission : To serve the needs of the community

The Ballard Lions Club is a group of men and women who volunteer their time to humanitarian causes in our community and around the world.

Our primary activity is to fund eye exams, glasses, eye surgeries  and hearing aids for needy adults and children. These services are possible because of donations to our Ballard Lions Foundation, our fund raising events, the discount price we get from Doctors and other organizations, or the grants we receive from the Harry & Clare Cayo Wilson Charitable  Trust. Harry Wilson was one of the Charter members of the Ballard Lions Club in 1925, and he continued to be a member until his death in 1995.

As part of Lions International we support them in their various projects on a global scale including preserving sight, combating disability, promoting health, serving youth and responding to natural disasters.

Always looking for service-oriented individuals, we would welcome your visit to one of our meetings. If you are interested in joining us to do humanitarian work please click on our page “Contact us”. One of our greatest ambitions is spreading Lionism – we are committed to help those that are in need. The more members we have the more humanitarian work we can do.

Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.
