2017 was the Centennial Year for The International Lions Club.

To mark this event we organised the "Tour De Lions" “100 Miles for 100 Years” pedelec/cycle event. Six riders completed the two day event and raised over £1500 for the "One Shot-One Life" Lions Foundation Measles Vaccination appeal. The Ride of 100 miles was through the wonderful  countryside that surrounds the Forest Of Dean within Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Monmouthshire. We were supported by the Lions Clubs of Ross, Monmouth, Newport, Chepstow and the Forest of Dean

Library Books for Schools

In December 2017 we donated money to eighteen schools within our club area to support the purchase of additional books for their library or reading area. This initiative is our Centennial Community Legacy Project
