Shippensburg Lions Club Eyeglass Collection

In 1925, Helen Keller challenged the Lions members to become "The knights in the fight against blindness". One of the ways the Shippensburg Lions Club lives out this mission is through the collection of unwanted eyeglasses.

   We accept:
          - unwanted prescription glasses to fit children, teens or adults.
          - individual lenses
    We do not accept:
          - broken glasses
          - sunglasses
          - glasses cases

Eyeglasses are collected year round and can be given to any Lions Club member or in our collection boxes that are located at Walmart, My Eye Doctor, and the Post Office in Shippensburg, PA.

Glasses are sent to a Lions site for sorting and labeling and then to third world countries where people do not have access to or the money to afford to buy glasses.
