BE A HERO - SUPPORT YOUR COMMUNITY
Shoaff Park Lions serve the surrounding Fort Wayne community. As Lions we are "Knights of Blindness" and support Kid's Sight, Leader Dogs for the Blind, Foundation Fighting Blindness, Workers for the Blind, Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired and the League for the Blind. Shoaff Park Lions also support all Indiana state projects including, Cancer Control, Eye & Tissue Bank, Speech & Hearing and the Indiana Lions Foundation.
Our largest fundraiser for the year is selling corn on the cob at the Johnny Appleseed Festival in September. Other fundraisers include citrus sales, bunny sales (at Easter), Lions' cookbooks, white cane drive and ringing the bell for the Salvation Army.

I became a Lion because.....
I became a Lion because my husband was president of the club, and I thought I would be supportive to him and join the organization - although I didn't know much about Lionism at the time. It was only after I had been a member a while that I truly learned what Lions due to serve our community, state, country and world. And in our club we have fun doing it! So, even though my husband is no longer president I continue to be a Lion because I believe that what we do does make a difference. - Lion Sue Schauble, club Secretary
Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.
