North Devon Open Golf Championship 2012
The Lions Club of South Molton will again be staging the North Devon Open Golf Championship on Sunday 17th of June 2012.
This will be the 17th time we have staged this event at Libbaton Golf Club, High Bickington.
Entry fee is £16.00 per player (Libbaton Members £8.00 per player).

South Molton Carnival 2012
The Lions Club of South Molton will again be staging the South Molton Carnival on Saturday 29th of September 2012.
We have been staging the carnival for 25 years and we hope the people and businesses of South Molton will continue their support for us and come along and enjoy the show.
As a result of last year's Carnival we were able to donate £1,500 to the Northern Devon Healthcare Trust Chemotherapy Appeal. The Northern Devon Healthcare Trust is fundraising to create a new, purpose-built chemotherapy and day treatment unit at NDDH. For more information follow this link - NDDH Chemotherapy Appeal
The Program for the day will be the same as last year.
- 12 noon - Crowning of the Carnival Queen.
- From 4:45 pm Assembly of the Parade in the Southley Road.
- From 5:00 pm Judging of the entries
- From 6:00 pm the Parade moves off and follows the same route as last year. It will be starting by Southley Road and turning left on New Road, East Street, Broad Street, The Square, South Street, Mill Street, New Road, East Street, Broad Street, The Square, South Street, finishing in Southley Road. Dispersal will be from Southley Road
- As in previous years, in the evening there will be a fair in the Pannier Market.
