We have been lucky enough to secure a visit from Santa Claus himself again this year.

I am sure that he will  bring Mrs Claus and some of his elves with him (keep a look out for that naughty one that hates to wear the propper hat and prefers a colourful one with bells on)

A grotto will be provided for him to sit in and receive his many visitors.

Look out for him arriving at the Grotto following a walk from Red Lion Square, up High Street, Ironmonger Street and finally arriving at his

Grotto about 10:00 a.m.

Make sure you get down early to miss the crowds.

The grotto will be positioned in Broad Street this year and will be

open from

10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.​

The cost will be £3.50 per child and you will receive a suitable gift.

Santa has to leave promptly at 4:00 p.m. to perform another duty so make sure you get in to see him before then.

 There will be a special post box where you can post your letter to Santa, which the elves will take back with them when they return to the North Pole in the evening.

Don't forget to ask an adult to take a photo of you with the man himself.
