ST. CLOUD LIONS CLUB RETREAT

We will be having a club retreat on Saturday, February 18th beginning at 8:00 a.m. at Jimmy's Pour House in Sauk Rapids. This is an opportunity for all St. Cloud Lions Club members to share ideas and/or concerns about where the club is at, and where we are going.  Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to attend.  Breakfast is on your own.

NOMINATIONS COMMITTEE MEETING

There will be a meeting of the Nominations Committee (All Past Presidents) coming up soon.  If you are interested in running for an office, please contact one of the Past Presidents so your name can be placed in nomination.

IN THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT

We would like to send out a big thank you to Lion Mike Evans for once again chairing our wreath sales.  Top wreath sellers this year were #1 Clarence Oehrlein, #2 Ted Takala, #3 John & Roberta Schiel, #4 Jim Albers, and #5 Charlie Lindt.  A big thank you also goes out to Mike and Betty Schmitt for arranging for a storage area for the wreaths, and to all Lions that helped make this project a success.  Profits topped $5,000.  Great job!

GOING THE EXTRA MILE

A thank you goes out to Lion Charlie Lindt for getting and distributing the tickets for the Federation for the Blind's annual Spaghetti dinner.  A lot of our club members would have gone hungry that night if it weren't for Lion Charlie….
