Lions Fellowship and Friendship -

We Serve Together!

The Sterling Lions are a group of men and women who volunteer their time to humanitarian causes in the Eastern area of Loudoun County, Virginia and the world. We conduct service projects to raise funds to help those in need.

History:

The Sterling Lions Club was chartered on May 13, 1964 as the Dulles Lions Club. As the community of Sterling Park grew up around the old Sterling whistle stop on the Washington and Old Dominion Railroad, the members, most of whom were Sterling residents, and/or working at Dulles International Airport decided to change the name to the Sterling Lions Club.

Our Club Today:

The Sterling Lions Club is one of the most active clubs in Virginia. The Club conducts an Annual Citrus Fruit Sale each December, and club members participate in many charitable activities each year throughout our area and Northern Virginia.  The Sterling Lions support the various Lions Programs for the needy, both locally and throughout the world.  These efforts are administered by the Lions of Sterling Charities, Inc. - a 501c3 charitable organization.
