Mission Statement of The Saint Marys Lions Club

To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation.

The Saint Marys Chapter of the Lions Club is committed to:

Providing eye care to the less fortunate both locally and internationally.
Providing aid and equipment for the sight-impaired.
Providing educational opportunities for the visually handicapped and those with diabetes.
Providing encouragement and information to students interested in pursuing careers having to do with eye care .
Providing support to activities that benefit the St. Marys community.

The Saint Marys Club was chartered on May 8, 1950, and is part of Lions Club International, consisting of 1,317,350 members in 46,000 Clubs in 205 Countries,dedicated to provide community service.
