Who We Are

Lions at Syracuse University dedicate our time and skills to provide assistance to those in need and make a lasting impact in our community. We are community service based and work with the International Lions Club here in the City of Syracuse to help with various fundraisors, charitable events and community outreach programs. The Internation Lions Clubs have a tradition of focussing on assisting and providing services for the blind and visually impaired. Lions have raised awareness of health issues and provide disaster relief, including food, supplies and healthcare screenings. Together we work to build stronger individuals and communities. As a new organization we like to point out that our activities do no only focus on community service. Collaborating with other organizations and businesses as well as networking are also a high priority. Ultimately we are dedicated to providing activies and experiences that are fun, creative, and rewarding for everyone!

How Lions Can Work for You

We provide students at SU with a great outlet in which they can actively participate in their surrounding community and meet others who are interested in making a lasting impact on others. As full Lions members there are also several exciting opportunities that you can take advantage of. International student exchange, UN day, and other international programs are just a few of the things we can offer.
