  • Overview
    The Thiensville-Mequon Lions Club is a volunteer service organization consisting of 60+ members dedicated to helping others. 100 percent of all net proceeds from fundraisers like LionFest in June, Golf Outing in mid-summer, Applefest in early Fall and Cribbage tournament in Spring are donated to worthy causes in the community, with an emphasis on improving the quality of life for people with visual and hearing impairments and other special needs.
  • General Information
    Thiensville-Mequon Lions host a board meeting on the 1st Tuesday of every month (7 p.m. at Skippy's in Thiensville) and a general meeting on the 2nd Tuesday (6 p.m. River Barn Park 9808 N Cedarburg Road 44W in Mequon), and also meet for fundraising, service and social events throughout the year. If interested in joining or learning more about the Club, contact Lion Jim Doornek, jdoornek@wi.rr.com, 414-324-6429. (Please note, membership is not limited to residents of Thiensville and Mequon; we have several members from neighboring communities and welcome all motivated individuals.)
