TIONESTA LIONS CLUB

HISTORY

The Tionesta Lions Club was originally chartered on June 26, 1939, with 25 charter members. The first Club president was Robert M. Gay. The Tionesta Lions Club, in turn, sponsored the Marienville and the Pleasantville Lions Clubs. We are a local unit of Lions Club International, the largest service club in the world. The bonds of fellowship, forged through Club participation, help members carry out important local and worldwide service activities. Presently, the Tionesta Lions Club has 38 members.
