TIONESTA LIONS CLUB FRUIT BASKET PROJECT IS UNDERWAY

The Tionesta Lions Club needs your help!  The Lions are preparing for its largest annual community outreach project, the assembly and distribution of Christmas Fruit Baskets in the Tionesta Community.  A long standing tradition, the Fruit Baskets are given as a symbol of good cheer to deserving community members such as seniors living independently, residents experiencing trying times of bereavement, ill health, economic hardship, etc…  The Tionesta Lions generally deliver around 150 or more baskets to those in need of cheer during the holiday season and has been doing so for over 15 years now.

You can help the Tionesta Lions to fulfill its “We Serve” mission through the Christmas Fruit Basket project with your donations.  Fundraisers throughout the year help fund this project but only go so far, without the help of contributions from Tionesta community members like you we wouldn’t have been able to do this for the past 15+ years.  This is a community outreach project that directly affects community members.  Donations do not leave the community.
