But be it known that the Union Grove Lions Club is the best club in the Universe!

  The Union Grove Lions Club is a men's club that has members of many ages, occupations, education levels and experiences. There are Fathers, Sons, Grandfathers, Husbands, Veterans, Business owners, Retired gentlemen, fellows that are still working, and many who are just regular guys.

  During our meetings, discussion of different view points is encouraged. It's kind of like the old fashioned college campus where being open minded and having civil discussion and debate used to be the norm. So if you enjoy a good discussion or just listening to one, you'll enjoy the monthly meetings.

What if you were a member? What would you do?

 You'll help change peoples lives.You'd do things you'll never do while watching TV.

Imagine being the Lions Club member that transported eyes from Burlington to Racine and helped someone to be able to see.

Close your eyes, then open them. You could do that for someone.

Imagine being the Lions Club member that handed a life changing scholarship check to a young student. You could be that member.

Imagine being a Lions Club member that helped to sponsor the local Boy Scout Troop. Some of those Boy Scouts go on to serve in the Marines. Some go onto serve on the volunteer fire department. Many have Eagle Scout projects that enrich their community.  You could be a member that helped him, to serve his country and community.

Imagine being a Lions Club member that helped during Casino Night, where veterans that have served their country get to play games instead of watching TV. Seeing them enjoy themselves and smile is a great reward.

These are just a few examples of things you'll do.
