PRICELESS BOOKSALE RAISES £540 FOR PAKISTANI FLOOD VICTIMS
Thanks to the publicity provided by our local newspaper, Urmston Lions organised a most successful Priceless Book Sale in Eden Square, Urmston raised funds for the victims of the Pakistani Floods, over £540 was raised. It is hoped to have another sale in about four weeks time.
The Lion President said “We would like to thank all those who supported us, for their generosity. Every pound raised will end up with our fellow Lions Clubs in Pakistan, without a single penny being taken for expenses.
