In February, four Lions volunteered their time and (expertise??) to help 4th grade students at Van Buren Elementary School complete science fair projects.  Each student completed a series circuit board, demonstrating the principles of a flashlight.      Under the tutelage of Lions Dean Bollhoefer, George Clupper, Karl Harte and Al Holloway, each student mounted battery holders, a knife switch and bulb sockets onto a pre-drilled board.  They then wired the unit according to standard electrical codes.  Some required more assistance   than others,  but each of the students had a working circuit board at the end of the sessions.
