2015
January Lions donate $500 to the South Dakota Lions Foundation and $500 to the South Dakota Lions Eye & Tissue Bank for the State Lions Convention's "Parade of Green"
• Hearing aid assistance is provided for a member of the community, in cooperation with the South Dakota Lions Foundation
 
2014
December Lions help prepare and deliver over 70 Christmas Food Boxes to needy households around town
• In memory of Lion Howard O'Connor, a $250 donation to the South Dakota Lions Foundation
• $250 donation to the Sanford Foundation for Sanford Hospice
An additional $600 for the W.H. Over Museum, bringing our annual support for the museum to $1,200 (in addition to proceeds from the Bikers Breakfasts)
 
November In memory of Lion Young Moore, a $250 donation to the South Dakota Lions Foundation
Working with SDLF, hearing aids provided at no cost to a client
Along with public donations from White Cane Days, $125 donated to the South Dakota Lions Foundation
Lions volunteer efforts at six USD home football games earn $3,000 for the club

• Sausage, milk and orange juice from fall pancake days help the Vermillion Food Pantry feed 243 children and 257 adults this month

Four days of Bikers Breakfasts - Lions serve pancakes at the I-29 rest area and bring in $1,700 for the W.H. Over Museum
Lions make an additional $600 contribution to the W.H. Over Museum
• Contribute $500 to LCIF's relief efforts for the victims of an earthquake in southern China
• Lions serve pancakes at Harold Davidson Field's Fly-In Breakfast to raise funds for the Main Street Center
• Eye exam and new glasses provided for a client

June

• $250 annual support for Vermillion Public Transit
• Two $750 college scholarships awarded to VHS graduates Ashley Sorensen and Joseph Swanson
• $200 program support for the South Dakota Shakespeare Festival

• $150 to help the SDLF replace its aging Lion costume
• $100 towards a new flag pole for Prentis Park
• $500 to help a local boy and his parents attend Aspen Camp program for children with cochlear implants
• Lions host the June 9 Welcome Table, serve 125 people

May • A $250 donation to the South Dakota Lions Foundation in memory of Norm Herren, past club president and longtime club member
$1,000 to support Leader Dogs for the Blind's Matching Gift Challenge
• $250 program support for the Vermillion Public Library's Summer Reading Program

• $100 for LCIF's Measles Vaccination efforts - matched by the GAVI coalition

April

• Lions serve pancakes to 894 people at the Spring Fundraiser
• Al Schock Fellowship presented to Lion Young Moore for longtime service
• $500 for the Main Street Center's Tomorrow Project (matched by the Dakota Hospital Foundation)
• $650 to sponsor a child's participation in Camp Gilbert's program for diabetic youth
• $100 towards a child's participation in the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) program 
• $125 to join as a "Builder" in the Dakota Hospital Foundation
• Individual Lions contribute to complete the original mural at the W.H. Over Museum

March • $250 program support for Junior Achievement of Vermillion
• $110 to sponsor a girl to American Legion Auxiliary's Girls State
• $400 for supplies to paint an original mural at the W.H. Over Museum
• Lions man the phones, raise money for South Dakota Public Broadcasting

February

• Lions serve 433 plates of pancakes for Clay-Union Electric Customer Appreciation Day - raise $1,299 for the club
• Eye exams and new glasses provided for two clients
• $250 donation to Sioux Council Boy Scouts
• $150 sponsorship to American Legion’s Boys State

• $1,000 donation to SD Lions Foundation
• $1,000 donation to SD Lions Eye & Tissue Bank

2013

December

• $1,000 donation to the Kids.See preschool vision screening program

• Float prepared for the Parade of Lights (cancelled due to weather)

November

• $100 donation to the Ski For Life program
• $1,500 donation to the W.H. Over Museum

• D-Days float constructed / Lions march in the parade

• We say farewell to Jack Doyle - $250 donated to SDLF in his memory
• $1,600 proceeds from the Travelers Breakfasts to the W.H. Over Museum

Summer

• Lions serve pancakes at the Travelers Breakfasts / support the W.H. Over Museum
• More pancakes served at the annual Fly-In / raise money for the Main Street Center
• Lions host Mark and Debbie Mansell – raise $1,690 for Leader Dogs for the Blind
• Lions host Welcome Table – provide $300 and volunteers
• $250 donation to Vermillion Public Transit
• $418 donation the Vermillion Fire Department for Knox lock-boxes
