Three celebrations in one occurred on Sept. 14/20 when Wadena District Lions Club drew of the winner of the 50/50 raffle, the winner was Dorothy Hack (Kipling, Sask.) who won $2,000+.
The second celebration was the first official engagement for the new Wadena District Lions President Mary Ann Rutko. Mary Ann is the first female president in thehistory of the Wadena District Lions since it gained its charter in 1966.The third celebration was a donation of $2,000 made toward the new daycare center by the club, received by Alex Prince (with Luke Lipinski) and Kirsten Hack.
