A HISTORY OF SERVICE

West Goshen Lions

…We Serve

Who are the West Goshen Lions? They are people just like you who are community-minded and service oriented.

The West Goshen Lions Club was chartered in 1971 and has given continuous service to the West Chester area over the last four decades.  Club membership averages about 50 members and is made up of a diverse group of men and women.  We meet for breakfast on the second and fourth Saturday morning of each month at 9:00 AM.  Our meetings are held via ZOOM call / video.

We serve to improve our local community with specific emphasis placed on service to the blind and visually impaired.  In addition, we support numerous service agencies and charities through fundraising and volunteer efforts.

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Since 1917, local Lions Clubs have offered people the opportunity to give something back to their community.  Today, with nearly 1.4 million men and women in 46,000 clubs located all over the globe, Lions have expanded their focus to help meet the ever increasing needs of society.

As a member of a Lions Club, you become aware of the needs of your community and have the opportunity to effectively make a difference.  Being a lion empowers you to help others in a way that no one person could do alone.

Now, more than ever, people with vision problems, our senior community, our youth, the environment, and the disadvantaged around the world need your help.

You can make a difference!  By participating in our local Lions Club, you can help meet pressing needs in our community and around the world while creating new friendships with other service oriented men and women.
