MOUNTAIN HERITAGE GIVE AWAY

"SURVIVOR KIT"

The Whitesburg Lions Club will be giving away a "Survivor Kit" at the Mountain Heritage Village, on Saturday Night, September 29, 2012, during the Mountain Heritage Festival.  Whitesburg Lions are accepting donations, for the "Survivor Kit".  For a $1.00 donation, you will  receive one chance, for a $5.00 donation you will receive six chanes, and for a $20.00 donation, you will receive twenty-five chances.

The" Survivor Kit" , includes a generator, an 8 person tent, sleeping bags, air mattresses, a Coleman Brand Quad Lantern (Battery Powered), Fishing Poles and Tackles, and much more.  Total value of all items, is approximately $1400.00

The Whitesburg Lions Club provides; eye exams, and/or eyeglasses, to those in need, arranges for free eye surgery, for those that qualify, through the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation, two scholarships for graduating seniors of Letcher County Central High School, assist in disasters, and much more.
