Welcome to the Winona Rivertown Lions Web Site!

The Winona Rivertown Lions Club of Winona, Minnesota chartered in 1996.  Formerly it was the Winona Lioness Club which chartered in 1982.   Mary Mack along with her husband Louie were instrumental in requesting the Winona Noon Lions Club to sponsor the Winona Lioness Club.

Our main fundraiser is the annual Bread Bowl Supper. We have contributed to many causes within the area such as Kids First, Big Brothers-Big Sisters, shelter home, Camp Winnebago.  The Winona Rivertown Lions have partnered with the Noon Lions, Sunset Lions and City of Winona to construct a park for persons with disabilities.  The theme is "Every Child's Dream".

Winona Health has an annual expo.  The Way to Wellness Expo features a broad range of wellness related presentations and informational booths with topics of nutrition, fitness/active living, mental/emotional health, or general wellness. The Rivertown Lions partner with other groups from the area to assist with this expo.

The Rivertown Lions Club have sponsored two Rockwell City Prison Puppies.  Prisons in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Michigan offer inmates an opportunity to train puppies with basic skills to advance to Leader Dogs for the Blind facility in Rochester Michigan.

Visit the project page for more club activities.

The members of the Rivertown Lions Club are honored and proud to be part of the largest service organization in the world!
