Melvin Jones Fellows

The Melvin Jones Fellowship (MJF), named in honor of the founder of Lions Club, is an honor presented in recognition of humanitarian work.  A donation is made to the Lions Club International Foundation in honor of the recepient.

Melvin Jones Fellows receive an attractive lapel pin, a plaque and a congratulatory letter.

Since its founding, LCIF has awarded more than 10,263 grants totaling more than US$729 million. For more than four decades, the Lions Clubs International Foundation has relied on the generosity of individuals to carry out its humanitarian work. Donations make our worldwide efforts to restore sight, provide disaster relief, support youth and address other humanitarian needs possible. 100 percent of every donation goes to our projects; all administrative costs are paid through interest earned on investments. LCIF receives no part of club dues.

We honor the Melvin Jones Fellows of our club:

Past District Governors

Each Lions Club is part of a Lions District.  The District consists of approzimately 50 Lions Clubs and it is quite an honor to be elected to the position of Distict Governor.  The District Governor coordinates many events throughout the district and spends a lot of time visiting all of the clubs that are a part of the district.  The Wyoming Lions Club has had the honor of two members having served as a District Governor.  We thank them for their service and dedication to the Lions motto of "We Serve".
