Arroyo Grande Lion and PDG Tony Manuel issued a challenge to members at the June 2019 installation. He gave each officer a red plastic apple, challenging them to put spare change in it. When full, he said he would match their donations for the club's contribution to Lions Club International Foundation (LCIF). At a recent August meeting, Lion President Steve Wilson brought his change apple with $36.07. Lion Bill Cockshott presented the club with a check for $36 representing what he had recently received by recycling cans and bottles. Lions Karen and Matt Barcellos brought in two Crown Royal bags with spare change. Lion Karen turned in $207.07.  Lion Matt donated $102.34. How much will the rest of the Arroyo Grande Lions be donating over the next month?
