Here are some trivia questions...

Do you know why the park in downtown Basalt is called 'Lions Park'?  Who sponsors the local Boy Scout Troop? Who lights the Star during the Holidays on 'B' hill? Who helped set up the first TV Translator in Basalt? Who was helped start the Basalt outdoor youth recreation programs that was a pre-runner for the Aspen Valley Ski Club?

The BASALT LIONS CLUB has been active in the Basalt Community since it was chartered May 13, 1957. In addition to providing scholarships to multiple Basalt High School Graduates, the Lions provide many services to the local community.
