Our Mission
The Beaufort Lions Club serves our community in many ways. We volunteer to help the visual and hearing impaired as well as Beaufort residence in need. We assist at major events, donate to other organizations that help people in need, and we are always trying to find new ways to help.
Who We Are
The Beaufort Lions Club is part of many districts which are all part of Lions Club International, the world's largest service organizations. Our club is involved in community programs as well as international sight projects such as, camp Leo, LVS, Leader Dogs, MUSC Storm Eye Research Institute,SC schools for the Deaf and Blind, Lions Club International Foundation...
What We Do
Each year Beaufort Lions Club schedules vision and hearing screenings in our schools and daycare centers, provide diabetic snacks to local schools for diabetic students, lay and collect wreaths at the veterans cemetery, work local festivals, fundraise to fund our projects, assist an optometrist and provide free glasses for those who qualify, collect food for the local pantry and much more. Our motto is "we serve" and always look for new ways to help our community.
