The Boothbay Region Lions Club provides support to organizations and individuals in need in the Boothbay area and beyond.
Local Youth/Community Service Programs are supported based on the needs of the community, and include twice-annual blood drives, YMCA day-camp tuition, and much more.
Eyeglass Recycling -- Every year, the Boothbay Region Lions Club collects more than 500 pairs of eyeglasses, which are analyzed by professionals to determine the prescriptions and then matched to a person with that requirement.
Local Sight Program supports the people of the region in need of an eye exam and/or glasses who cannot afford the cost. Requests are individually evaluated by the Board of Directors.
Local Scholarships help support needy students in the Boothbay Region.
Fund-raising Projects -- Funds to administer our various charitable and community service programs come from annual activities such as the Fall Foliage Booth in October, Fisherman's Festival Breakfast in April, and much more.
