Together, we CAN make a difference! Castlegar-Selkirk Lions Club wants to acknowledge the wonderful support of the businesses and residents of our community. It is because of this support that we are able to touch lives and ease some burdens for people passing through some tough circumstances.
When you see us flipping burgers, pumping gas, soliciting donations; it is for the benefit of our community. The club itself is self supporting. Every dollar raised at our fund-raisers goes directly to worthy causes.
On behalf of all of the grateful recipients, we thank you for your support. We wish you could directly experience the gratitude of the people you have given a 'hand-up". That is why I am a Lion.
So thank you for eating that extra burger, digging a little deeper, loving a little stronger. If you are the sort of person who would like to get some hands-on involvement, come visit one of our meetings. We would love to have you join us in the pleasure of making Castlegar a little brighter place to call home.
