Who We Are – Who We Serve

As a Chapter of the Lions International Organization, The Deer Park Lions Club was chartered in 1974. In its history, the club has worked diligently to serve the Gamber-Smallwood area of Carroll County. More than $450,000 has been given back to our community through our various service programs.  We loan hospital equipment, collect used eyeglasses and hearing aids for recycling in third-world countries, participate in the codunty Rec & Parks cleanup program, and volunteer weekly at the Carroll Food Sunday food bank.  We assist individuals in need of hearing aids and eyeglasses.  Our Lions have given thousands of man-hours in service to our neighbors.
