Deux-Montagnes Lions club  2022 giant annual book sale

The sale wse held on October 14th-15th and 16th, and it was a great success..  We were so lucky to have a few dedicated volunteers without whose  invaluable aid we would not have been able to run thisannual community eevent. After the Covid period people were anxious to meet their old school friends, and this sale has become a community get together. We also sold our famous Lions Chrstmas cakes at the Sale , and people have not lost their taste for this goody, as the sales were brisk.

We accepted donations to AGAPE and a few containers of non perishables were donated by our book collectors. Thanks Guys and Gals.

After a well deserved rest , getting a collection of approx 27000 books together is not easy, especially since we classify them , like they do in a  library, we will start  in Late January 2023to collect books for our 2023 book fair   and the date of this sale will be posted on this site as soon as we know.

Thank you again for your support, and the proceeds of this annual event, are as always  uused to aid the needy in our area.

We have wheelchairs, canes, crutches, walkers and other equipment that we loan out at no cost for use in the community.
